Carsten started coming up with stories as a child and he has hard-drives full of novels and short stories in various stages of completion. During the enforced lock-downs of Covid, instead of filling his home with the unique smell combinations of oil paints, painting mediums and whatever he had last cooked, he spent time on his writing. Older novels progressed; new novels were started; and the same went for short fiction and creative nonfiction. In 2021, Carsten began to submit his writing to magazines and websites.
